Hi, I'm Ziyi Huang, a soon-to-be PhD student working at the intersection of music, emotion, and AI. With a background in computer science and a deep love for the arts, I'm drawn to projects that blend technical precision with emotional depth—whether that's designing stress-relief music tools, building AI-powered music companions, or analyzing how people respond to sound Outside research, I wear many hats: freelance designer, developer, and amateur musician—not out of discipline, but because I've never been good at choosing just one passion. I've also participated in algorithm competitions and enjoy solving complex problems, especially when they relate to human-centered experiences. As someone who's both technically minded and emotionally intuitive, I believe technology doesn't have to feel cold. My goal is to create systems that resonate with human nuance—bringing warmth, creativity, and a touch of music into everyday life.
